Supervision: Critical Reflection for Transformational Learning, Boston 2009 Plenary Key note address

This is an adaptation of a keynote address by Michael Carroll with the above title given at the Fifth International Interdisciplinary Conference on Clinical Supervision in Buffalo, New York, June 2009. Part 1 of this plenary looks at some of Michaels learnings from life and work about learning itself and how he has applied these learnings to supervision (Carroll, 2009b). Part 2 of this article focuses on what kind of learning is basic to supervision and how supervisors can set up that kind of learning for supervisees.
