Michael's lecture tour attracted over 600
professionals
from a wide range of disciplines in the helping sector.

Lecturing in Perth, Melbourne and Sydney he provided three, two - day sessions for those seeking to practice Supervision for the first time and two, two - day lectures on the concepts and teaching models necessary to provide Advanced Supervision.

Melbourne chosen to launch a new workshop on Ethical Decision Making.
A new two day workshop was launched to a group of 165 professionals from the helping sector. Over 75% of the audience returned a comprehensive evaluation form and included comments such as:  “Excellent workshop – faithful to objectives”, “Loved the content of the training”, “the benefits are immeasurable”  “absolutely outstanding”  “a dynamic and outstanding experience”  “should be compulsory”.  

UK launch of new workshop!
Making Tricky Decisions:  Ethical maturity in the helping professions
is to be made available in the UK 14th and 15th December 2010 at British Psychology Tabernacle Street London. The new workshop launched in Melbourne this year focuses on how we make difficult, ethical decisions from a mature perspective. The participative workshop identifies the complex and competing factors encountered and provides practical approaches to achieving ethical decision making which is aided by a variety of different models or frameworks .More details on Melbourne here and plus details for UK based course click here !

'Becoming an Effective Supervisor' 
the ideal place to begin with Dr. Michael Carroll.   
2nd to 3rd November 2010 open course.

Bringing clarity and understanding to the role of supervision, this two day course helps new supervisors set up, maintain and use a supervisory arrangement effectively with one or more supervisees. While concentrating on individual supervision, it will provide insights into group and team supervision work.

Highly acclaimed, this course is designed for treatment managers, psychologists, probation officers, social services personnel, managers – and all who supervise the work of others in the helping professions.

Building on the models and concepts from 'Becoming an Effective Supervisor' this course moves the participants into a heightened level of  practise. Course details.

The course uses the Experiential Learning Model as it core thread, deepening and honing the skills of learners to provide advanced facilitation which will enable supervisee to achieve a very high quality of professional reflection. Wilbur's Integral model is introduced as a holistic overview.
